Immigrant Diaries is a photography project focused on real stories of people rebuilding their lives in new countries. Through cinematic portrait photography, each story captures identity, transition, and emotional depth behind immigration. This project reflects the experiences of millions of immigrants across Europe and Canada — people who had to pause their lives, change careers, and start over. From artists and musicians to workers and entrepreneurs, these stories explore what it means to lose and rediscover yourself. If you are going through your own transition and want to capture this moment — this project is for you.
DownloadI’ve met people who used to run businesses and now work night shifts.
Artists who stopped creating for years — not because they lost talent, but because survival came first. Musicians who haven’t touched their instruments since they left home.
But something interesting happens with time. People start coming back to themselves. Slowly. Carefully. Almost silently. They pick up the camera again. They write. They sing — even if just for themselves.
Because identity doesn’t disappear. It waits. Who knows… maybe one day Sasha will start singing again too.
And maybe this story — like millions of others — is not about loss, but about rebuilding.
